NUVO's 25th Anniversary Celebration

It all began March 25, 1990. That's when our publisher, Kevin McKinney put the very first issue of NUVO Newsweekly on stands. Twenty-five years later, NUVO has proven itself as the local source for news, arts, music, food, movies, sports and social justice in Indianapolis. 

As Indiana's largest independent alternative news organization, NUVO is created by and for people who love our community, our culture and our environment. We look forward to Celebrating 25 Years of NUVO with you, our readers, followers, fans, partners, and friends on Saturday, March 28 at Old National Centre: Deluxe/Deco.

NUVO will host Indy’s hottest local DJS: Action Jackson, Kyle Long, Indiana Jones, Gabby Love, TopSpeed, Cool Hand Lex and MetroGnome from 8 p.m.-Midnight in Deluxe/Deco. Join us for NUVO’s 25^th Anniversary Cocktail Contest presented by Jim Beam from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., complimentary food from local eateries, a special edition 25^th Anniversary Sun King Beer, dancing and celebration.

Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
